Stuart Perlman and Dominick Natoli, owners/principals of The Basic Companies, founded the business on the premise of providing homeowners with a cost-effective option for home renovations without sacrificing quality and service.

Leading up to the launch of the company, they had more than 30 years of experience in home renovation services, and applied their knowledge and expertise to delivering an exceptional product and experience.

The initial launch of the company included Totally Basements and The Basic Basement Co., which were soon followed by The Basic Bathroom Co., The Basic Kitchen Co., The Basic Waterproofing Co., and Totally Plumbing.
